The month of August was indeed a boring one..nothing exciting and I haven't tried any makeup or new launches so none of it makes to this list today.I have been using more of skin care and lifestyle products that too most of them ranging in very affordable range.I know it is quite late to post the August monthly favourites but it's better late than never.Lets see what all product make to the list.
Forest Essentials Facial Ubtan Narangi & Nagkesar :
It is a pretty decent face mask which smells like orange peels and is very soothing to senses.It also happens to be one of my favourite fragrance.I wasn't very regular with the mask so I am yet to completely review it.Ubtan provides a slight scrubbing action on cleansing and is best suited for oily to combinational skin.Product retails around Rs 775.

Coloressence Compact Powder
Coloressence pressed powder retails for around Rs 160 and it is a great pick from affordable line.Packaging is pretty decent and the compact has a separate compartment for storing the puff and the quality of puff is better than many other brands that I have tried.The shade Ivory Beige has strong yellow undertones but it looks normal on my face.The formula is powdery and it tends to look cakey and fake on layering otherwise just dabbing it normally provides even toned skin.It won't provide you the most natural finish but can be used sparingly for a nice effect.I have been using this regularly these days and I like it overall.

WildStone Ultra Sensual EDP
Being a girl this seems to be a weird choice but I am somehow addicted to this particular fragrance.I also have the body talc from the same range < tooth grin>.I used to think that I am the only one fond of masculine fragrance but now I realize that there are many crazy souls like me.Perfume has a strong character and feels very fresh and sensual.I guess everyone interprets notes in a different way.I don't have an expert nose to sense the notes but it has powdery notes to it with a bit of aldehyde. Wildstone EDP is a part of my daily routine these days.I do recommend to check the fragrance in stores before you order it as I said everyone has their own choice when it comes to picking perfumes.

The Body Shop Super Soft Cleansing Brush
I traced this particular product in TBS outlet and as I touched it the super satiny dense bristles stole my heart.The brush is extremely silky and soft and cleanses face well.It works better with foamy and lathering face washes like The Body Shop Tea Tree Squeaky Clean Scrub . I have been using this weekly and it is a nice product.It retails for around Rs 1000.

Studiowest Almond & Peach Exfoliating Body Scrub
This is my first ever product from the house of Studiowest. I wanted to try the makeup but since I am on a no makeup shopping mission I ended up purchasing a body scrub.It is a decent scrub with nice exfoliating particles which are neither too dense or too less. Almond & Peach scrub has a generic fruity smell to it which doesn't cling to skin on washing it off.Scrub perform the action quite nicely and I like the fact that it is gentle and not soft.I generally do not reach for soft scrubs and this is a perfect choice for me.Also one gets a good quantity for Rs 399.

Music Flower Long-wear Gel Eyeliner
I saw a couple of youtubers and bloggers rave about Music Flower gel eyeliners and it comes for a dirt cheap price so I obviously had to pick one for me.They retail for around Rs 150 to 200 and are easily available online.Eyeliners come in a pair and I chose the black and green variant.The packaging is decent and the two pots come with two small brushes.One is an angular brush and other one is a regular eyeliner brush.The forumla is too creamy and fluffy that a single dip in the pot forms a little crater unlike other gel liners.I personally did not find the application that easy as it slides from the lids because of creaminess.Once I am successful in applying liner , it takes quite a few minutes to set in a matte, almost non smudge-able finish.The pigmentation is quite good and black liner is a deep jet black and green one is a nice bright green.For the price tag I recommend this product.

Charms Bracelet
Bracelets are one of my favourite accessories and I remember wearing them since my school days.I bought this charms bracelet from Madame outlet and the little heart lock,keys,bow and a large pearl bow makes it look extremely cute and funky.It has earned a lot of compliments from my friends but then it is too delicate and I have to be very careful when I wear it.

IceCream Cup Keychain
I am a huge lover of miniatures and what is better than a replica of your favourite dezzert. Who doesn't love ice creams?? Since I also love collecting keyrings the deadly combination of both had to be in my possession.This one again has been bought from Madame stores.Overall it looks extraordinarily cute and I just cannot stop admiring it.Wish I could taste a scoop of it !
